I have a SOCOM that is dated 5-99. Itis a new release SOCOM that has new pocket clip and redesigned tanto blade. I was just wanting to know if anybody knows if the lever lock on the new style is thicker than the one on the old style? When I bought the knife, the dealer had advertised the knife as "new lever lock" design. The new Kestel is advertised as "new microbar lock". To my understanding, the microbar is just where Microtech has increased the thickness of the lever lock?? Any information on this subject will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David
