Microtech D.O.C. or Microtech SOCOM Elite. I'm really stuck on my next purchase... I really want both but I must choose which one first. Please post any pros or cons and general opinions I honestly don't care.

I just picked up a DOC today and so far I am in love with it. It is quite large, but I love big folders. The lockup is very solid and blade centering is damn neat perfect. Everything about the knife screams perfection and craftsmanship. I will post some pictures for size comparison.

Darn that's a beaut. I love the the DOC. I love the anodizing on them especially the red and blue :D don't know exactly which blade finish though
 
Never had a DOC, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the Socom Elite. One hell of a nice knife. It's my favorite Microtech by a long shot.

I like the looks of that DOC too though... You've got a tough choice to make! The good thing is that you will wind up with a great knife either way.
 
If I remember correctly some people have commented that the pocket clip can be a little uncomfortable on the DOC.
 
The end of the pocket clip does stick out a bit further than most of my knives, but I would not call it uncomfortable. It is a solid pocket clip though, not worries about it falling out of my pocket.
