Microtech Excocet

Has anyone purchased a microtech excocet and can give their thoughts. Ever since I saw it it’s been calling to me but I’m on the fence. I’m hoping it’s a decent knife/money clip as I run a minimalist wallet and usually shove cash in a pocket and have lost some bills on occasion pulling my phone or wallet out.

I'm not sold on the money-clip knife idea. I actually used a CRKT KISS as a money clip for a while back in college (almost 20 years ago), but I wasn't carrying another blade with me. If it's your only knife and can do a second job, that's cool. If you're already carrying a pocket knife, I don't see much point of using another knife as a money clip, particularly one that isn't especially useful in terms of form factor. And, for a money clip, it's very bulky, which kind of defeats the goal of a minimalist wallet. I'd personally be really wary of keeping the Exocet in the same pocket as my phone, too; lots of hard edges and sharp corners.

At the end of the day, it's a very niche product that could be a good addition to someone's EDC if they fit that niche. If practicality isn't a factor, it's a cool novelty.
