Microtech fans

Didn't used to be a big fan of MT... but that mini SOCOM Elite looks cool, and is that a FRAME LOCK? If so, is the frame reinforced at the locking point or something? I've never seen T6 Alum. used for that.
 
I like the new layout, but it doesn't seem like they've put in all the content yet... I count a grand total of four knives...
 
Thanks for the heads-up. MT has some excellent stuff out there. It's good to see them update the website.:cool:
 
Dont forget, there is a new Combat Talon with a DE blade, and a Nemesis, as well as the Makora, good stuff on its way soon... :)

Still no OTFs:( I am about ready to get a Scarab though. Maybe a Damascus. I am not really into the S/A models really.


Once I own every D/A and Side Opener, then I will work on the S/As;)
 
The SA models have a sort of elegance to them that the DA's lack IMO. Maybe its the brilliance of well executed simplicity, i dont know. To me, there is nothing more aesthetically pleasing, well, in the world of autos anyway, than firing and then retracting a HALO 2. The H2 will always be the ultimate MT to me. It offers more precision than the DA models and i love the looks too.

You know Jason, if you wait to buy SA's until you have all the others first, that could take a few years, and by that time, if my calculations are correct, you'll have 27 million posts. :)

:D I haven't been posting as much here lately. My average is heading down to only 11 a day :eek: There is just not enough time in the day :p
 
MT is on a roll. We have seen a lot coming out of their shop lately and I hear there is more to come. :D
 
They are on a roll of new and exciting stuff, can't wait till tommorrow at Blade and see it all in person! Paul
 
that mini-soccom is looking very cool, esp. with the new frame-lock design. But I find that the mini is a little blade-heavy, which I dislike in a small knife. If anyone gets a chance to hold one of the new frame-lock mini's at Blade, can you please check the balance point & report back? Cuz if it's not blade-heavy I MUST get one! thanks - FF
