Microtech... how does it work?

If this is a re-post or wrong forum I appologize I did search a ton yesterday to see what I could find before I posted this thread.

I want to know how the lock up works on a Ultratech. Any pictures or diagrams would be great. I am not planning on building anything I am just curious.
