Thanks for so much input gentlemen. I read through all the posts on automatics and came up with two winners; JB and Microtech. I could not find a way to buy the JB Cheyenne which I wanted badly but did purchase a Microtech Vector today. Damn things are expensive as hell too but very well manufactured. Makes my Benchmade Mel Pardue feel and look like poo-poo

Congrats on your new knife, I like Microtech but the prices are just too high for my blood.........

Yes they are expensive. The shop owner even said he couldn't afford one because he has four kids to feed! Heheh... I would of ended up with one sooner or later. I came clean with my wife tonight and told her how much and why it costs so much. It helps to educate and bring the women into our hobbies!

b08maz, I agree with you. If you are into MT's and are married, you must sit down with your wife and get her interested in your hobby. Tell her everything, quality, finish, collectability, uniqueness, and value for the money (bring this up last). Show your wife prices on some of the custom knives out there and explain to her these are really a bargain. Anyways, enjoy the knife, you've been afflicted. Check out the OTF's, they are incredible!

I cannot afford 700 bucks for an otf although I fell in love with the Nemesis III the first time I saw it. You know what that means right? Yep...eventually I will pick one up!

May I suggest a Halo III ($350) or a Combat Talon II ($450)? Both knives are superb and are really a great value for the quality and finish. Both are excellent workers as well. Yes, the Nemesis is truly an awesome knife!
