Microtech Kestrel question

I have had mine since 2010. I'm assuming it's been discontinued or in limited runs now? I cant find any for sale currently, and one for sale on ebay for almost 900 used. Is that an absurd asking price for the desert camo auto kestrel? I'm not looking to buy it but curious as to how often they pop up for sale?
