Hey guys, I was looking through some old things today and came across my old Microtech LCC. I sent out this knife to get pimped along time ago and it came out awful. The knife was brand new and the guy wrecked it, he lost a washer, and the overall craftsmanship it just bad.

At the time I didn't really care enough to say anything to the guy because I figured I would fix the knife myself, but it just ended up in the safe and at this point i'm just looking to get rid of it.

I'm wondering what I should do next. Is it worth sending it off again to get fixed? Is the knife still valuable even with this crappy work done to it? The knife developed some specks of rust from sitting for so long, is there anyway to get rid of them?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Heres some pics of it

Boy did he screw it up... It's not even a D/A anymore!

:D

000 steel wool should get rid of the rust, but light buffing may be required. as for the scales tuffthumbs, alexanderdietz, or Randy at solosknifereviews (He does some awesome work too).

if your not willing to dump anymore money into it either:

1) keep it the way it is and sell it for a big discount

2)keep it and use and abused it

3) do a give away and let it be someone else's tinkering knife (this knife is definitely a diamond in the rough).

4) Give it to me :D

Either way you go,you cant really go wrong.

good luck in your endeavors

Tuffthumbz or Alex are def two of your best choices.

You can check out their YouTube channels if you haven't seen their work.

But if you don't want it anymore you could always list it on the Exchange for a discount.
