How To Microtech lock-bar fix.

Hey everyone. I have a Microtech Socom Delta that has vertical lock rock. It's caused by the low spring tension in the sub-frame lock. Right now the lock up is about 40%. If I manually force the lock bar inward till lockup is at around 60%, the vertical play goes away.

I don't want to send this in to Microtech unless I have to because of their notorious customer service.

I figure if I can bent the lock bar slightly inward, it would increase the spring tension and lock up tighter. however, I can't think of a good way to do this without the triangle wrench which I no longer have. Also, if the steel lockbar insert was replaces with one that had tighter tolerances so it lined up with the early part of the blade tang, that would probably also fix the issue, but that would probably also require sending the knife to Microtech.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't tackle this work myself, but you can improvise the tool. I've seen one made from thumbtacks and a dowel. Also it seems that microtech has gotten better in the customer service area, or so I've heard.
