Hello all. I was just reading the Microtech website and I read something that caught me. It said production knives for 2014 will be a full size Matrix. I have contacted microtech but they have not got back to me yet. Does anyone have any information on this. If this is true, I'll be buying another microtech. It's near impossible to get your hands on a full size matrix without paying a grand for it minimum. Looking forward to hearing any info anyone has. Thanks in advance.

I'd love to be enlightened as to how the 777 is relatively easy to find, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those. That being said, the mini matrix is probably my all time favorite knife. When the new one is released in Elmax, I will probably have to pick it up. Microtech has said that blade steel is dependent on supply though, so I hope they go through with Elmax in this year's production models.

I don't care about the 777/matrix crap. It is by no means easy to get ahold of either. unless you want to pay 1000 bucks or greater. Honestly, I'd like to have both, but zt has retired the 777 and microtech might be making more. If they are I want to get on someones list somewhere to preorder.
