Has anyone gotten their hands on one of there new neck knives from microtech. Was thinking about getting one and was wanting some feedback from someone that has one or has at least held one. Looks like the handle has good ergonomics. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you. Roger

You may want to check the Microtech forums at knifeforums.com or microholics. You might get more info there.

I have one and love the configuration! It is very comfortable to hold and the carry option with the teklok and neck carry. Mine is the SW plain edge version. A really well thought out knife!!

I have not carried or used it though and will probably wind up having to sell it before moving to Nicaragua. I am planning on taking FAR fewer knives in my luggage than before!:(

I have a SW plain edge and have no complains with it so far. Although i've heard that some are not satisfied with the fit of the blade in its sheath. Mine is a snug fit so it probably depends on what you get.

I wear mine around my neck everytime i go mountain biking which is every other day. It gets really drenched in sweat and there's no rust whatsoever. I haven't cut that many things with it so i can't say that much about its cutting ability, but it is razor sharp. Alos, you can hold the knife tigthly with 3 fingers and with the fob attached it would feel like a full grip.

The MT Medallion has a funny draw angle: the knife has to be pivoted to draw from the sheath. You have to practice the move and be confident with it before hanging it around your neck. Otherwise you might be shaving your chest hair or slicing off your belly fat when drawing the knife :D
