hey all
I would like to review a new execution of this model. the Microtech Socom Elite is a great knife but due to its size it cannot always be used in everyday use especially in Europe where sometimes size matters.
At the time these models were made I was too young and for one reason or another I missed it.
what do you think ... ??? would be welcome in your EDC rotations ???

Last year Microtech was supposed to release a new Socom Mini, but for some reason they decided not to make it. I think a Mini would be popular, so they might revisit the idea at a later time. If you come across an old model at a decent price, I say you should totally get one. Can’t go wrong:cool:

A mini socom with tip up would sell like gangbusters! Major letdown they didn't follow through.

Some of the old Minis were tip-up, and I believe the new ones were supposed to be tip-up too. Microtech never said why they decided not to make it, one day they just took the announcement off of their website and deleted any Instagram posts mentioning it. Strange.

lately they are thinking badly so ... have you seen the Scarab 2? a nice thing about the Scarab was its size .... perfect!
luckily I had time to get the original

What’s wrong with it?

as I see it, a pocket knife must remain of an easily transportable size inside it, even more automatic knives which should maintain a good characteristic of concealment.
