I acknowledge being somewhat of a neophyte asking this question. There appears to be about a $100 break in the price point of two different versions of this model. Can anyone provide reasons for the price difference?

Handles.
There are two versions.
Lower priced has injection molded polymer, the other has G-10 or carbon.

The cheaper versions have molded polymer handles, the pricier versions have milled G10 or carbon fiber
