Anyone have one yet? The specs on the Knifecenter page say it's 1/4" in thickness, is that really true? How does it carry?

thanks!

Joe

I got one earlier this week. I just measured it with the scale on my leatherboy (small leatherman with scissors...I forgot the model name) and it appears to be 1/4" thick. It has no clip (OK by me) and fits nicely in a wallet. Lockup is secure, blade grind is even and SHARP! It feels good in my medium sized hands (which suprised me). I don't have any other CC knives to compare it to but I'm pleased. Cheers! -Alan

How strong are these sorts of CC knives? I like the idea but it seems like the knife would break. My credit cards and drivers license always end up slightly bent; what happens when the knife gets flexed?

I can't speak for other credit card style knifes but the MT Option II can't flex much at all with rigid carbon fiber on one side that is attached to the steel that forms the other liner in four places. I'm sure that Cliff Stamp could destoy it but it is plenty sturdy for my needs.

It's sturdy enough. I dunno if it's exactly .25, maybe more like .175 or so, but it's beefy. The steel liner on one side makes it very strong.
