  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I have a mini socom with the extreemly gripy inserts and the frame lock. I have recently acquired an intrest in the full size version aswell, but have generally only seen them with rubber inserts and a liner type lock. I think I saw a full sized model with the gripy inserts, but it was an auto. -Have they made a large manual without the rubber and is it a liner lock, or frame lock? Are they pretty rare? Thanks for the help.

They are neither frame nor liner locks. They are microbar locks. The microbar is a solid piece of steel hinged to the right scale. It is operated by springs. It works like a liner lock, though.
It is rumoured, that a large manual framelock Socom Elite is coming.
