Microtech Select Fire (Manual) Help??

I got a Microtech Select Fire off of a forum member on here, and I was told beforehand that the knife had some minor blade play, but I wanted to fix it. So I ordered the tool to adjust the pivot, and after turning the pivot in both directions... the pivot is very hard to turn, and when it does turn, it only moves 1/2 of a rotation. I'm not the original owner, so Microtech won't cover the knife under their warranty .

My question is, does anyone have any experience with disassembling this knife or fixing blade play with this knife? I really cannot find anything about this knife anywhere. I really need to fix this, because I love this knife, but the blade play is ruining it for me.

The knife probably needs a complete take down and cleaning/adjusting. Have you sent an email requesting an rga from Microtech? They serviced my Delta w/o any hassles and I wasn't the original owner.

Yeah, I emailed them and told them I wasn't the original owner. They said they might charge me labor fees to work on the knife.
