Microtech Socom Delta - Adjust the Pivot?

I have a Socom Delta and everybody says that a T30 torx wrench will work to adjust the pivot.But for my knife that simply is not true.Please help.My Socom Delta is dated 12/2012 if this helps.

I was under the impression all Delta's had the T30 pivots. Mine is older and has it. Not sure what the problem could be.

I talked to Microtech and they said you have to grind the T30 down to make it fit.Is this true for anyone else?
