Microtech Socom Delta clip looks like a Sebenza clip

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this. If this has come up before can someone show me a link?

I just noticed that the clip on the Microtech Socom Delta looks almost identical to a Sebenza clip. Has anyone else noticed this?
 
Yes, it does. I have one of the customs, and it's the first thing I noticed. Like you said, almost identical.
 
Microtech using other peoples work as their own ? I'm shocked ! :eek:

Wouldn't be the first time they ripped someone off. Look at what they did w/ the ZT 0777.
 
Came across a shop over here that had the micotech ripoffs of the CRK OPK's............i wonder if any of the knifemakers have ever said anything to them at a show or what not. That's pretty disgraceful blantantly ripping others off.

I believe they were first made years back as MT customs with blessing from CRK. The one piece knives that have just been put out by MT may or may not be part of that arrangement. I don't know if that is even correct at all but I hope not. The latest MT one piece knives are far from the quality one would like to see and do nothing to honer the original CRK OPKs in any way. They are your typical Microtech quality in that there is no QC at all. I have handled 6 different MT OP knives and they all had clear and obvious blemishes in either machining or finish or both. They are also tiny and it's hard to see how they can be much use really.
