Microtech socom elite 2011

Anybody have any experience with the new microtech socom elite folders? Good bad? Just curious to hear owners opinions. Again I'm talking about the new ones. Thanks guys.
 
You can still find them on the bay. I prefer the TOPS Thunder Hawke frame lock. Less than half the price of the MT but still a ti frame lock excellent blade shape and great steel. When I say dirt cheap I mean like dirt cheap. Just look!! keepem sharp

Thanks but that thing is hideous and looks to be made by Fox knives and in my opinion they are trash.
 
I know one thing they must be atleast decent bc they are sold out almost every where. I managed to snag a 20cv version and can't wait to try it out.

As do I but that version uses MT bullshit proprietary screws. Also from the little I've seen it has a thinner blade stock (not standard 5mm stock) and the liner is thinner as well. Again don't quote me on this just what I gathered from one video on it.

I am another that hates there new screws. Also I wished they didnt put that ugly glass breaker in the butt end. I dont know why Microtech cant just bring back the originals. So much nicer.

And I would prefer the kraton anyday over freakin skateboard tape for the handle inserts:(

I agree on the glass breaker but can live with it.
I don't mind the skate tape kinda like it. I'm just glad my version doesn't use those retarded screws like wtf lol.
 
Oh the 20CV steel model. Like the 2 I just bought from (( not a paid Bladeforums dealer ))?
