Is the date 08/2012? I was under the impression that the grip tape models were all 2011 models.

I don't have the knife right in front of me , but IIRC it's June 2012.

If it helps, I have the exact same knife in my hand now, and the BD is 05/2012 .. so the grip tape is used in 2012.
