I recently bought a lightly used Microtech Socom from forum member tiburon. It has a black, partially serrated 4" blade and althought the knife is used, the blade is in excellent condition (near factory edge). There are some light rub marks at the front of the aluminum scales, but nothing severe. It's a 1998 edition and the lock up is excellent.
I bought this to carry, as I prefer a folder with a larger blade, but I regret to say the scales just don't fit my hands well enough to get comfortable with it. I just bought an Al Mar S2K, and that's just a better fit for me (I guess the Socom blade in the S2K scales is what I really want
). There is one screw missing from the pocket clip.
I paid $125.00 for it, but I'll let this one go for $115.00. I don't do PayPal and at this price it's for sale only in the lower 48 states. If we've done business together before, I'll take a personal check, otherwise a USPS money order.
