Microtech Socom MA date 10/98

My Dad bought this knife new in 98 and I just saw it on eBay at 375.00! With a lot of time left to bid. (over 4 days) Does anyone know why it would bring that sort of money? My Dad and I were mildly shocked, we knew it was worth a bit but not that much.

Right now since Microtech has stopped producing knives in order to work on their gun production the older Microtechs are going for more cash. It will be that way for awhile until Microtech starts knife production again. Also some people liked the older ones better than the new. They have been bringing top dollars on Ebay but you know how that goes. It could be someone really looking for that style and there are not as many out there for sale right now. Kevin
