My UTX-85 started failing, blade was failing to lock out firing. I took it apart to clean and lube, and the blade stop pin will not come out, it's stuck like it was press fit in. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting it out? I tried using needle nose pliers, a utility razor blade to pry it out, needle nose vise grips, nothing works, it's stuck.

I've been in this situation and persistence was the only thing that worked. I eventually got under the lip of the stop pin to pry it out.
Take your time because you will get extremely frustrated. You may want to take a break and come back to it. But it is possible.
I used micro snips I found at home depot (came as a set of needle nose pliers and snips) which is small enough to fit in the work area and gave me enough of a wedge to get under after many many many.... many attempts.
These are what i used:

Get a small brass punch and a bench block and drive it out with the punch.
