Like the title says, I have a Tachyon in excellent condition for sale.
It is stonewashed, plain edge. I have just the knife and the box, no sheath or papers. It's #951, born on 2/02.
The knife is in great condition, with a light scuff on the handle (see photo), and the factory T8 screws have been replaced. The replacement screws were bought from knifekits.com, so they arent some random Home Depot screws.
The handles are in really nice shape though, doesnt appear to really be flipped, as there is no marks from the latch that are indicative of the knife being flipped, and the tang cups look nice (over time with lots of flipping they become shiny as the beadblast wears smooth) I took the latch off personally, just because the knife came manila style.....
The blade has ZERO indication of use. As far as I can tell, the blade is exactly as from the factory almost 8 years ago. The tip is still needle sharp and the edge is like a razor.
If you have been looking for a Tachyon, especially one you dont feel guilty to actually flip and use THIS IS IT!!!! This is your chance to get one as close to mint as they come for less than $600! These guys have proven to be rare and desirable, but are the SMOOTHEST, TIGHTEST, BEST FLIPPING production balisongs ever. There is nothing in the world that could part me from my personal Tachyon, get yours while its still available!!!!

As far as condition of your trades, I prefer to use what I have, I have a very tough time just letting something sit in a box or on a shelf, just begging to be used. I am not concerned with NIB status. So dont be afraid to offer something with a little play time on it.
