Microtech Terzoula ATCF

I just read at www.knifecenter.com that Mocrotech is coming out with a dual action version of Terzoula's ATCF. Although I'm not interested in a dual action since I live in a auto illegal state, I would be interested in a Microtech manual version. Does anybody have information on this project?

Microtech doesn't plan on releasing a manual version.

What you can do is purchase the DA version and then remove the spring. It doesn't take much.

Since it's a bolster release. . .it's not that easy to tell that it's an auto. . .to the untrained eye.

For $595 couldn't you just get a manual ATCF from Terzuola himself?

I tend to agree with Carlos. While the Microtech version has a slightly different blade grind and differnt fasteners - I'd get the real thing.

The ATCF comes up on BF, USN and Ebay all the time. (And always less than $500).
