For you what is the better knife ( to collect not to use ) , The MT Terzuola ATCF or a Large Sebenza Unique Graphic ?
My heart hesitates between this two

Thanks,

My little collection :p

What a great , enviable choice. I would probably pick the MT since MT has an inclination to introduce new models and then drop them very quickly, making them collectible all of a sudden (IMHO done with a deliberate purpose).

At any rate, they are great products. I have many of their knives and have never regetted any purchase. The "screwy" marketing practices are a whole separate issue.

Good luck.:)

"Collecting" for "future value", especially w/knives produced in these quantities is pretty much a crapshoot.

The Graphic Sebenza values have been pretty weak, as have all of the higher end Sebenzas over the past year - here and on Ebay.

The MT Terzuola's are selling at closer to their target prices than the Unique Sebbie's at the moment - but who know what the next year will bring.

I predict - ...collection values will generally continue to suffer. There are exceptions - there seems to be an avid Benchmade Limited Edition following - many of those knives continue to gain value on Ebay month after month.

i'd get a sebenza AND a straight-ahead non-collab ATCF straight from bob, with my choice of handle materials. but that's just me, & i'm not much of an automatic guy. maybe you can get a sebenza first, then report to me what the fuss is all about ;)

I agree with Alan, get a real Terzuola. Microtechs are hot and sell relatively well, but not all models, and the market changes. I also agree with Architect, there's too many sebenzas out there to make them really collectible. Sebenza lovers may buy multiple knives, but the prices don't seem to stray much from CRK's list.

Get the one that appeals the most to you. Myself, I'd take the Sebenza...but that's just me (and a few others around here).;)

I heard Tony is not going to make any more hand ground knifes and has stopped making his ATCF's, way before the 1500 CFI ordered. Add i also heard when the prodution ATCF's come out they will cost more then the Hand ground ones, believe it or not.

I love the MT Terzuola, and would love to have one for a collection piece and daily carry. Although I'd prefer a manual for an edc.

If you are looking for a nice "wow" appeal knife the MT is hard to beat and is a great knife. If you are interested in pure asthetics, the Sebenza may be a better choice (depending on the graphic of the knife). We have seen some great unique Sebenzas come through. They make a New York Skyline WTC sebenza that is really nice. In our opinion, I don't think you would be disappointed with either piece. As far as future value goes, that's really a crap shoot. Just go with the one you like best. Good luck.

Thank you for all your advices, I was able to find an ATCF for $480 I believe that I am going to take advantage of it and to take Sebenza later

:p
