Hi there,

first of all a merry x-mas and a happy new year to everybody.

I am new on this board. I am a student from Germany. My problem is, that it is very hard to get Microtech Knives here in Germany. If you wonna buy one you have to pay a lot off money for them (legalized models like Amphibian). Often you pay about 500 Euro which are like 500 $ for an Amph. That`s too much for me.

Does anybody in this forum know a good dealer or distributor address, where I can buy an Amphibian black boron plain and a L-UDT black boron plain for a good and low prize?

Well, 20 views just now and not any reply...
... so, ok, I'll try:

First of all a firendly advise: you allways can try the search-function. There's been quite a lot of discussion about shipping to Europe recently.

Then: not sure if they have knives you asked in stock or not, but for example TAD (http://www.tadgear.com/index2.html) or PVknife (http://pvknife.com/webcat/) are good places.

Do you or anybody know good knife shops in New York, where I can buy MT knives when I will come there in January??

Hi Rugger, wohnst Du in NY??? Kennst Du gute MT-Stores oder Läden, wo man es billiger kriegt???

I tried to stop by Paragon when I was in NYC last May, but they closed at 2000 and I got there at about 2015. :mad: Looked like a cool place, though, and I've heard a lot of good about them.

Anorganic- z.Z. wohne ich nicht in NYC- sonst hatte ich dich zu 'ne Bierschen eingeladen. Probier doch mal dein Messer ueber's Internet bestellen- mit 'ne Addresse in NYC. Hol's dort ab. :D

Meine Cousine hat ne coole Penthouse Wohnung in NY. Vielleicht sollt ichs dahin bestellen. Wäre ne Idee.

Kostet des eigentlich viel Zoll die Messer nach Germany zu importen???

Ich weiss eigentlich nicht was fuer Zoll darauf kommt. Zu viel. Ich weiss nur dass Messer (die ursprunglich aus der USA kommen) sind wesentlich billiger hier. Zu viel hin-und-her & jeder kriegt ein paar Groschen dafuer... ist 'ne Schweinerei. :grumpy:
Die Penthouse Loesung ist ja prima. Nun has du bistimmt DM100,00 gesparrt.
Uebrigens, ich bin nur 'ne etwas eingedeutschter Ami. Drei Jahre in Heidelberg, zwei in Berlin. Wo kommst du eigentlich her? Gibts jetzt ein paar gute Kerle aus Deutschland hier am Bladeforums.

preis des messers + versand (wenn du es dir schicken läßt) umrechnen von US$ in euro. darauf dann 8,5 % Zoll für messer. da dann noch mal 16% einfuhrumsatzsteuer drauf.
kleines Beispiel:
100 US$ = 97 euro + 8,25 euro zoll= 105,25 + 16,84 euro einfuhrumsatzsteuer = 122,09 euro

Hi Mike, tja ich lebe 10 km von Grafenwöhr/Vilseck Truppenübungsplatz weg. Hab schon daran gedacht mal meine Bekannten in der US Army Base zu fragen, ob die mir nich das Teil mitbestellen können. Bisher habe ich ein Super Angebot: 249$ für Amphibian und das UDT black boron plain beide. Is doch gut , oder?? Hier ist das billigste Angebot bei 440 Euro für beide.
