Microtech UDT/ LUDT's

Why won't Microtech make these in manual versions, so us regular citizens can carry them? What gives?

MT is know for thier autos for one thing and they would have to redesign the UDT again to make a folder out of it to boot. I know MT would sell some if they did make any UDT folders but how may compared to their autos? Way less is my guess.

I wouldn't think so, although I'm no expert. There are more of us who need manuals than do autos. Now I do understand that the majority of the military and police carry knives, and that the majority of the regular public probably don't carry knives, but I just wish I had a Microtech that I could carry other than the Mini-Socom. MOD has no problem producing a few. Benchmade, etc.
