Microtech Ultratech!

I just got a Microtech Ultratech today, and I was wondering if the blade play that some of the OTFs have weaken the knifes strenght? This is my first OTF, well my first automatic, so I was just wondering about their strenght.

There has to be blade play in a D/A otf so that it can retract and shoot properly. The play in an Ultratech is something like .006 of an inch if I recall correctly.

nope not at all, as long as its used for its intended purpose of cutting.
