Well UPS just brought my Present to myself. :) I took some quick pictures of it.

This is my first Microtech and man I am glad I got it made very nicely lockup is tight and fit and finish is superb. All i can say this knive is built like a tank. Anyone else have one of these and how is it holding up.

No they seemed to stop production a while ago from what I heard a online dealer had a couple left so I scooped one up.

The MT Vector blade was designed by Joel Pirela. Actually, it was Joel's first blade design. The knife was initially released in Oct 98 (or so I've read).

The MT Vector is a sweet little knife, with amazing cutting abilities !

Here's an interesting tidbit. . . .

The blade is a melding of the imposing Hawkbill design with the wicked Japanese tanto. According to the designer, "The drawback of the Hawkbill blade is it is made for slashing, not stabbing. With the Vector profile you could achieve both. Using the interception of two blade grinds allows you to grab more material and drag the blade for even deeper cuts. The tanto-like tip adds incredible piercing power, making the Vector an awesome defensive tool."
