Hello all, I have a question regarding Microtech's warranty service. I have a beat up Socom Elite dated 08/2004. Thinking of sending it in for refurbish. I only have 1 warranty experience and that was with wonderful people at Benchmade. But I hear a lot of negatives on Microtech's warranty service so wasn't sure about sending my knife in. What I want to be fixed on my knife are:
1. blade sharpening (reviving the tip as well)
2. up & down blade play, some wiggle left & right
3. rotating pocket clip...held by one torque screw...so basically my fingers holding on to it when I open the blade and caused this problem
4. it'll be nice of them to smooth out all rough surface on the handle...the pocket clip had dug into the handle and shaved some materials off
Not sure if pics are working but do you think I can get what I want to be done from Microtech?
