How many of you are going to be in Troy in a couple weeks?
I'm going to be there and I hope I can meet some of you.

I live here in Troy...but this year I think I'm just going over to the knife show from 12-4 on Saturday.

Greg, I think I'm going to have a table at the knife show; stop by and say hello.

Matt, I hope you can make it. I like your knives and it would be great if I could see one in person.

I actually saw both of you last Sept. I was there the Friday night when they had the cutting competition. That was my first "knife event". It was a lot of fun.

I live in New Carlisle...so it's a long drive.

I saw the admission at $135...I take it that's for makers selling or something? Is there a general public admission at a reasonable rate that I could attend?

The fee for the hammer in is 135.00. The knife show is free to all. The knife show is Sat. 2pm to 4pm. I'll have my display this year. I'll also have a few customs and some handle material. Look forward to seeing every one. L.B.

There will be no cutting competition obviously, but I am in charge of filling a large time slot with a cutting demonstration, how many are attending that have plenty cutting experience and would be willing to brainstorm with me? I now will also be doing a metallurgy lecture so I have less time to think up clever parlor tricks. Feel free to e-mail me.

Lot's of people cut cans and water bottles. Has anybody tried pop cans that have the pop still in it? Shake it up real good and swing away!
Oh, you wanted helpful input? Sorry... :D :D

Hope to see you there Phil, Pete, and Matt!

Hey Matt.....I am hoping Fisk will be there so he can babysit for me again!

Sorry but, I have to bow out this weekend guys. The little one brought home a bug that's running an ugly mess through this house. I normally can't even sleep at night, when I'm suppose to, and this thing has me on my back. I hope I can catch up to a few of you in W-S.
Safe trip to all,
J.

Bummer! I hope you all get over it soon.
Looks like i won't be having a table, but I'm still coming.

I can't make it Friday. I'm going to try to get in Saturday. I've got four or five pieces for show and tell...hopefully I can swing it.
