Yea. A lot of backward practice. The blade is trash. I've started it again...

The next batch is going to be my Blade Show batch, and is going to be sweet... Hehe. Gonna bust out some of that bubinga. I wish the box of wood I just boxed up for WSSI was going to be ready in time.

Andy,
Any progress on that Woodsman with rosewood?
How about the passaround blade?
It is really hard to wait with all of the posts about how great this knife is.

We need details!:D In all seriousness, I hope Blade goes great for you and I'm sure it will. I'm hoping to make it down there, but we've got a baby due between now and then so who knows what will happen.

I had to re-start yours and Jakes. They'll get ground this week and heat treated this weekend. I apologize for the wait. The Passaround Woodsman is waiting to get marked. I'll get to that Tuesday...

JC. That runt is one my FIL is going to work on. He spends the summers with us, and is taken with that design too. I have no idea what his plans for the knife are, or whether he intends to keep it or not.

I'll say it again....the two tone scales you make look awesome! gotta be my favorite scales on any knife!

Love the natural handles but can't wait to see that red & black micarta (?) all finished up

Thats maroon linen micarta over black g-10.

Those handles have been through the grinder, and files. That is what they look like before sandpaper touches them.

That is awesome that he comes to hang out with you guys over the summer. I hope he plans to keep it. It is one thing to sell them off when that is what you do for a living, but in his case, I'd hope he keeps it and enjoys using it. That'd be something cool to pass down to one of the grandkids:D

I hope he keeps it too. He's a huge help to have around. He loves the shop, and we work well together.

Cool. I get along great with my FIL as well. As a matter of fact, I was just telling my wife yesterday that I'd like to get him a Fiddleback for Father's Day or his birthday.

Yea, I won the FIL lottery. He's really great to us. In fact, he put a lot of the tools in that shop, and the workbench was his idea, and mostly his work.
