OK this is the problem .. need a mid size folder ,assisted ,
would like titanium or G10 with good steel .

for reference
The Sabenza 21 [small] = too small
large sabenza a bit too big .

Whats the choice for mid size realistically under $ 200
But I'm curious enough to explore all price ranges .

I'm sure the members here will blow me away with some solid choices

I like the BM 585 Mini-Barrage, it's an excellent assisted knife with an axis lock as well.

the benchmade subrosa is a pretty nice assisted knife, i was able to find one for $150 on ebay. its too nice for me to EDC though, i have an assisted benchmade warn and benchmade barrage that i edc as users.

the benchmade hk blitz looks nice too, though i havent handled one.

I have a zt0350cb love it but it is a bit chunky

Like that mini-barage

Kershaw Avalanch if you can still find one. 3 1/4" blade, S30V, G10, linerlock, around $90. Benchmade Nitrous Strykers are nice too. Two different sizes, G10 with Ti liners and D2 steel.

I think you should check out the kershaw rake g10 handle d2 blade assisted opening very cool knife around $90

Another vote for the ZT0350. Although i find the handle a little bit uncomfy in my hand. Nevertheless its a fantastic knife.

The Benchmade Nitrous Stryker is pretty nice too and meets your specs with its titanium liners, G-10 scales and D2 blade.

How about the Benchmade Torrent or the ZT 350? The Torrent is nice and flat and has a quick speed assist. The ZT is a good heavy duty folder for its size. I would also look into the new Kershaw Random Task even though the steel is not going to be top grade. Good Luck! Kevin :D

In the cheapie catagory, the Kershaw Cyclone is a nice knife. Flipper + thumbstuds, nice wide blade, jimping.

saw the mini barrage today -nice ..but want it plain /not black - next week

But they had the full size barage plain blade -bought it

Funny thing is -same dilemna slightly big or slightly small

More votes for the ZT 0350 or the BM 585 Mini Barrage. Have both. The ZT is bigger, but still an acceptable EDC IMHO. But I don't know as much as these other guys on the Forum, so listen to what they have to say too.
