O.K. been thinking. Is there really a need for mid size knives? I have a Becker BK-7 that I love and it fits into the mid size catagory, but, it seems just a little to small to be a good chopper and a little to big for small jobs. Is this area of knives for people who only carry one knife? It seems like you would be better carrying a large chopper with a small camp knife. If this thread has already been done to death please post link as this is hard to search for.
