Here are some more compact all-steel knives I just finished. These are intended as compact neckers or EDC type blades at the low-to-ridiculous price range for a hand/benchmade. I reckon some guys could also use these are kit knives & wrap the handles or something similar.
Steel 154CM, 1/8th " thickness
Heat Treatment Hills Heat Treatment, Cryo & 3xtempered 60RC hardness
Grinds All are one-sided chisel-ground. Reinforced point. Almost zero-edge.
Finish - Fine machine finish.
Handles Textured all-steel with a chiseled buttend for opening tins & prying.
Sheaths Moulded Kydex.
1., 2., 3., 4. All 5.5inch OAL, 2.0inch blade. 3., 4. are a little narrower in profile.
5. 6.0inch OAL, 2.5inch blade.
More pics below. What do you guys think ? Leave them flat & simple or wrap the handles ?
Thanks. Jason.
Handle detail of No.5
In kydex sheaths
