Drew this Mid sized design up today and wanted to get as much blade as possible into a compact carry knife.
What do ya think ?

looks good, however, i might suggest radiusing the grip to blaede transition and the heel of the butt.

that square corner at the rear looks like it would be sharp if shifting your grip rearwards for chopping, but i guess it all depends on how you use it.

I agree on the butt cap but don't really think the handle to blade needs to change, the knife would be 3/16" stock so your hand would only go up to the heel which would just feel like a guard.

hmmm... i'm not thinking it needs a radius there for comfort or safety per se, just that i think the lines might flow better, and be less od a stress rriser, but i don't expect that would really be an issue with this with 3/16 stock and the short blade.

and i kinda agree with Caine that you could run the grind off the back of the blade.

i'm NOT a knife maker, but it might be difficult to keep the plunge line parallel to the back of the blade and evenly spaced for m the edge. if someone with some grinding experience says it's not a problem i'll take their word on it, but not having to do that would probably be easier than having to do it. which does not mean that i think anything that's a challenge should be avoided. just trying to KISS :D
