I need some suggestions.

I currently have a small Izula as well as the large RC-6. What I don't have is anything in hte middle of the road.

What would ya'll suggest as far as the RC 3, 4, 5? and why?

What situation would you use one of those rather than an Izula or RC-6?
-or- would you suggest anything other than the Izula and RC-6 because it makes a perfect combination?

I love these questions..

I would say RC4.

BUT now.. its the same thing when people ask me...

Should I buy a Semi or Revolver

A Glock or XD

A .357 or a .45

Full Size 1911 or Commander

Basically... its all about your end use. What do you want to do with it? What is it for?

An RC4 is just a bit bigger than an RC3 and smaller than an RC5. There are ALOT of pictures here comparing them all. I like how my 3,4, and 5 all fits in my hand. But I am not going to peel an Apple with an RC5. And I am not going to try and chop a tree with an RC3.

Yeah.. I know.. Not very helpful.

Good Luck. Others will chime in shortly.

hmm, Semi auto, Glock, .40... Got that figured out

I do think RC 4 may be a good middle option but I need to hear some other thoughts first!

Another vote for a RC4. For me it's small enough to carry around most anywhere, yet big enough to handle most of the tasks that I would use a knife for.

I think I would go with the RC-4 as well. It's enough smaller than the RC-6 to make a difference (better for fine work and control) but its enough bigger than the Izula to make a difference ( has handles, more reach and leverage). The RC-3 is closer to the Izula and the RC-5 is closer to the RC-6. The RC-4 just seems to be the best "middle of the road" knife to me.

I definitely say RC-4. I think it's the ultimate 'middle of the road' knife from the RC line. I guess it doesn't really matter which one you choose. My bet is you'll end up with all of them at some point :)
