Very nice handle! And sheath
Who else is up at midnight?
Me.

For reasons not be announced.

Yeah that handle is gorgeous. The sheathe is too but it's less important to me than the blade. Anyone that can afford the blade should buy the blade.

Hi Abdelhazred now that makes me curious. Anyways, I'm up because my daughter woke up. She's sleeping again but I'm still up.
I'm sure there will be a rush once everybody wakes up. I had already exhausted my budget yesterday, otherwise the bird head is speaking to me.
Good night and maybe you can buy it. It's kind of a sign. You are up today and exactly then comes a Kukri which you like :)

I'm up late, too.

That is a beautifully carved handle and the Garud bird-head is one of my favorites, but I'm going to give one of the early birds (no pun intended) a chance to get it in the morning. If you guys don't hurry I might reconsider.

By the way, on another thread there were questions about whether Lachhu is using the sun-type kami mark. Based on Yangdu's posting of the earlier blade the answer was yes. Here we have confirmation, as the photo clearly shows the sun-type kami mark and again Yangdu tells us that Lachhu made this knife.

Lachhu is becoming another star at HI. I just received his Pen Knife from the 8/30 DOTD, and it is a real beauty, with flawless workmanship. He's been the main (or maybe the only) kami making the ASTK model, and those are also great.

I really love the garud ang kola, It was one of the first knives I bought from auntie, I think the handle is great and so is the blade ! anyone who can should get it !

I have a kumar made Garud that is just itching for a satin finish and some blue on the blade along with a new sheath. A gentleman's evening khuk if you will;)

Thank you Philll
That looks like something I want to try. First on some cheap blades to get experience and then on my high carbon knives to protect them more from rust.
Kukris I will see later. I imagine they will be a bit more involved given their size. Also have to see how it looks. Are there pictures of blued HI blades?
