So...due to circumstances, I might be taking a few week trip that I have been trying to set up for awhile. It will be in NM, and Colorado, and I don't have a big becker yet, and want to grab one for this. I am thinking the bk2. I might be walking through a few places with people, so I don't want a bk9 on my belt, although it could be utilized very well, and could be put in my pack. So as an all around knife, used everyday, do you guys agree on the bk2? Mind that I have a tomahawk(trailhawk) and a 14. Should I go for a bk2?

Skip the hawk and go with the 2. It will get you around just fine.

And the 'hawk will look awesome in your pack up there.
If you need a solid knife, but not a chopper, see if you can pick up a 10. It's most of a 2 without the choppiness.
