Why torture myself, teasing it out a little at a time for months or years?

Today, I ordered a BM-E, a SH-E, a NO-E, a Paul's Hatchet, and a Pepper Shaker.

Thanks to everyone for helping me with my decisions.

Evolute,
I think you've covered your bases with that order :D:D

Let us know what you think when you receive them.

BTW, what's next? ;):D:D

Holy Crap! And I thought that I went crazy with my first aquisitions;

NO-E, AS & Mr Mojo.....

Mate, you have the sickness.......:D

Nice job! You only needed the SJ to hit for the cycle. And the baseball season's only hours old.

Very nicely done; very nicely done indeed.

Now, what about the Satin Jack and then users and keepers? :)

You need some more variants.

Here's how my First Busse Month just went:

BM-E, SH-E
Badger-E
Mean Street
Paul's Hatchet, Satin Jack
Assault Shaker
Satin Jack variant, 2 Steel Heart Variants
5/16 Badger
Serrated Steel Heart
Flying Tiger, Pepper Shaker
Basic 5, Basic 7
Mean Street
Mr. Mojo

Ordering the two Argonnes tomorrow.

I may have missed a few in the confusion - it's hard to tell, as the house is littered with diced-up UPS packages, and the INFI lust is once again upon me :-)

Bae...

I would hate to have your VISA bill dude!

Nimrod.....do not even start me on 'users' and keepers'!

I actually break out in a sweat every time I slam the NO into very forgiving wood, bone, fish or other....finding it very hard to get them dirty..:( Only cure for this is to get double of everything....oh well....

I'm watching the mailbox carefully. If my wife opens this month's bill, I'm a dead man.

bae,
What's your true identity? :D

Are you really 1WhoBuys or IdahoSkunk? :D:D

Nice collection you've got there in your first month. :D

Your going to need that Satin Jack;)

Getting hard to get a new knife in these parts with all you new buyers snapping up all the "Hot" deals ;)

You guys are doing what I do now, order several and wait.
That way you are in line and since they are made in batches they ship at differnt times.
You don't get hit with them all at once.
Guess I'll have to up my orders and hord all the INFI to myself:p

bae, IdahoSkunk, Evolute (1WB's goes without saying), you guys have a serious case of INFIitus :D

And gundy, the sweating and sick feeling in the pit of your stomach goes away with the coating :D

Evolute, excellent purchases!!! :) Did you have a bad day or something and need to cheer yourself up? :D

Hehehe and they haven't even started with the tan handles to compliment the grays...

Nice collection all the way around. Can you post pics so we can all drool??

Mike

Hi, Everybody,

I bought all of these as users, bought them because I think they'll make me more efficient, more productive, and more safe as I go about my business in the outdoors (literally). "Collection knives" are probably going to wait a while, until business is really rolling.

As for what's next: a Canon D60 camera, an Apple iBook, a flight to Australia, and more shares of Cree, Apple, Corning, Solectron, Caterpillar, Urban Outfitters, and Pixar (among others).

I can hardly wait to make use of my dream knives: knives that do what I want them to, and don't need to be coddled.

By the way, the legends about Busse Combat Knives are already proving true, even before I have ever held one. Just one call to Jerry was all it took for me to experience the best customer service (and friendliest) I've ever experienced. No kidding. The best.

Thanks, Jerry, for being there for us SOBs who demand everything and then more. You're truly upstanding. That means a lot to me.

Good Evening Everyone-

Evolute, it sounds as if you have quite a bit of financial wherewithal with regard to your blade purchases. It looks like you could purchase your knives from any number of manufacturers, but you choose to do business with Busse. I doubt you make your decisions (business or otherwise) too lightly.

Glad to hear that you've been treated well.

I'm waiting on a Pepper Shaker and Steel Heart E myself, so I hope to have a similar happy story to share with my fellow forumites. Similar to you, these are my first Busse knives and were ordered pretty much simultaneously. What causes the sense of need?

Methinks it is the passion & sincerity illustrated by the folks on this forum.

Regards,

~ Blue Jays ~

Well, I don't want it to come off sounding like I'm rich. Far, far from it.

However, you're right that (I saved up enough that) I had the financial wherewithal to purchase my first choice in blades.

And I did!
