I'm drinking grape juice. I've decided to cut back on beer consumption for a while - stress relief for my wallet (and my gut)!

By the way, not much has changed. At the Hog inductions at Blade West 2003, half the table were tea totalers. Let's see if I recall: Me, Survivor, David Brown, Porkeys, Drew... I forget the rest, but you get the idea.
 
Got tangled up in a few Strongbow ciders after band practice tonight in a bar I work in sometimes- then found out one of my other locals still has a supply of St Jame's Porter (sadly no internet presence). Ever been in a small room w/ 12 bagpipers, 5 snares, 3 tenors & a bass drummer (yours truly)? It was the "Parade Simulator" (in a church social hall w/ a LOW ceiling). We are training for the parade season- (we do 3 gigs in 3 days in & around St Pats- VA & NC) You'll need a pint. Pint becomes pints. Bagpipes were not proclaimed "instruments of war" for nothing. Earplugs mandatory. Booze discretionary- but a fine idea.
 
Here too... Makes things dangerous for the CCs. Interesting blades on the Exchange. :eek:

Drinking and Exchange surfing should be outlawed!! :o
