I've been searching for some paracord to go with my Zaan & titanium damascus .45ACP bead. I purchased several different colors of cord both locally and online, only to conclude that I didn't like the color combo. So, I dove back into the CRK threads and found one of RiverRat84's pics, along with some from BladeChick777 and other members; eventually opting for Burgundy/Maroon, which was actually many of your recommendations.
In the end, I couldn't be more pleased with Maroon, it's the exact look I was after. I printed a pic that Steel_Addiction posted and gave it to my Daughter to replicate the lanyard. There's nothing fancy about the pattern, but my Daughter made it for me in a matter of minutes, to my exact length specifications. I have dedicated knife pockets on my trousers and shorts and the length is ideal for the lanyard and bead to reveal as the remainder of the knife is concealed.
