Miguel Cabrera is the best player in the MLB today, and possibly in Major League Baseball history! The man is a machine!

You gotta love Miggy. The last two years have been superhuman. Body by Bacardi, not steroid. Manny Ramirez was the best right handed hitter I ever saw, until the last few years with Cabrera really took off. Manny was a juicer though. It seems like everybody is so of course Cabrera could be too. He just doesn't seem the type.

I still would take Clayton Kershaw over him, or anybody else, if I was starting a team right now. 25 y\o power arm lefty.

That is an opinion that I do not share.
And you are certainly entitled to that opinion.

I agree. It seems like people are quick to judge anyone that's having an amazing year, but Cabrera has been doing this his entire career. That doesn't mean he doesn't use PED's, but I'm 99% sure he doesn't. Of course, I don't know that, but like you said, he doesn't seem like the type of player to do that.

I'd pick Cabrera as my 'star' player and have a solid rotation than an 'ace' and some mediocre pitchers.

He is certainly amazing and I really hope he is not juicing. Steroids ruined an entire generation of baseball stars and I will never forgive them for rendering my baseball card collection worthless.

Back to Cabrera though, WHY oh WHY do pitchers continue to pitch to him? He only has 77 walks this year! Bonds had over 200 one year.

I really hope so as well. Juicing ruins the game.

I believe pitchers think if they pitch Cabrera 2 inches outside the plate or 6 inches inside that they can get a couple swing and misses. That's obviously not the case. Most of the time, they make a mistake anyways.

Good old Miggy. A wonderful sport, never gets mad and he doesn't argue with the umpires very much. And boy can he hit! I don't think he is on PEDs but he does have a bodyguard/ babysitter with him all the time so he doesn't drink. Really has been a great boost in the morale of Detroit in these troubling times.

RIP Eat 'em up Tigers guy,
Connor
