Here is one of my latest folders from Mike and two images of his edges under 200X magnification. That is right 200X. Hair popping sharp from maker.

He was not running fast enough, so I stabbed him in the back, seriously while setting up knife for picture, it slipped and shaved the varnish off the other side, This knife is SHARP.

It looks like that knife really likes that turtle.

So how many of Mike's knives do you have? I still haven't seen one in person, but everyone raves about them. Maybe you should bring a couple to Blade.

He deserves the raves. Fit and finish well beyond the current asking prices. I will bring a couple to chicken eye. I have 6 now.
My son claims one, but it is still mine.

Hi Jim,

Nice looking knife!

I was interested in your 200x pictures, what did you use to take them? Also are we seeing the edge bevel or? Is the top edge the sharpened edge?

Thanks for posting!

My son is a razor nut and collector, he has a microscope set up to take the pictures, he posted them on a razor forum and the razor guys said Mike must have some jig to setup to get the bevel edge that straight. I understand it is the bevel edge we are seeing. I will pass on question to him and let him get in touch with you.

Another beauty there Jim. I like that jigging. Cool photos also.

Robuck, you crack me up! :D

I'll have to agree with the assessment of Mike's work ! Also a great person to deal with.

Interesting jigging.

Thanks for the reply Jim! I may have to go out and look for a microscope. I find this kinda of thing pretty interesting and informative.
