Hi Everyone! I thought I would ask this here. Is Mike Alsdorf still in business?

I don't know the answer. 2 years in a row he wasn't at the knife show that I usually see him at and the show was cancelled this year. I think the last time I saw him at the show was in January 2018. At that time, he had some of his knives for sale but they were much more modern looking than the type of knives he used to make. Almost futuristic looking but they were nice.

I know that isn't much help but it's all I know.
 
I believe the knives were a sideline for his regular business, Ridgedale Metals. He built some really nice knives, very precise. I still have a pearl peanut that is absolutely gorgeous.
 
Call him and let us know what you find out. He still has an active website with a phone number listed.
