I don't know the answer. 2 years in a row he wasn't at the knife show that I usually see him at and the show was cancelled this year. I think the last time I saw him at the show was in January 2018. At that time, he had some of his knives for sale but they were much more modern looking than the type of knives he used to make. Almost futuristic looking but they were nice.
I believe the knives were a sideline for his regular business, Ridgedale Metals. He built some really nice knives, very precise. I still have a pearl peanut that is absolutely gorgeous.
