Well shoot. I just looked myself and you are right. I swear that he used to have some pictures of thm up. They must have sold.

Anyway, incase you have not seen one, they look similar to the Nemesis(not the Microtech) on the Mike Franklin page. I am Sure that Les can aquire one for you though.

Good luck,
Derek

Just curious as to why you wouldn"t have Joel contact Mike directly for a Millenium? Mr Franklin advertises in Blade and T.K.Why not go directly to the source and avoid the middleman.Like I said I'm just curious maybe there is something I'm not aware of and as a collector would like to be educated.

Strider, not defending Derek or anything, but sometimes, the maker is the last resource I use to get a hold of a knife...

Since is probably 99% you will get a knife cheaper and faster going thru a dealer of custom knives...

Just my 2¢!

Hi Joel and others.

Joel, I do have a Millenium in stock, just not on the web site yet. Look at the Franklin Nemisis on my site. The Millenium is a smaller version.

The reason to check with a dealer is that generally they have a good selection in stock. I generally keep over 150 knives in stock. Ninety percent of the knives I sell are at the makers price. The ones I sell over the makers price generally come from a private purchase.

Concerning, getting knives for less, I dont sell them for under what the makers charge. By doing so devalues the knives in the collectors collection and the knives on the makers table. This is not good for anyone concerned in custom knives.

However, there are dealers who do charge less. Generally, once those dealers are identified the makers will no longer sell to them.

Strider, dealers such as myself are good to check with because of the relationship we have with makers. A knife that may take you 6 months to a year to get, may only take me 1 or 2 months. This is due to the fact that I constantly have knives on order with a particular maker. The good news for you is that I charge (in most cases) the same price the maker would and you either dont wait or wait less.

Hope this helps,

Take Care,

Les
