Made my second spoon and learned more about green wood cracking if you don't try to moderate the loss of moisture as it dries out. Used my new Mike Griffin chopper to rough it out and his bushcrafter for the finer bits. At 2 lbs this is a beast to carry, but it packs a wallop.

Looks like a great 'one, two punch' combo!

I like the fatty handle on the smaller blade.

Looks like a great combo! I like the little troll..
Is the chopper made to compete with, or just a design for the woods...looks like it would work in both realms.

I, also, like the large handle on the smaller blade. Nice blades

"Is the chopper made to compete with, or just a design for the woods...looks like it would work in both realms."- I'm just a rookie woodsman:)
"Any pics of the big boy in action?" Only around the house as of yet, but so far so good.

Thanks for looking, Mike makes some real nice users.

That thing is a beast. I dig choppers with the blunt shaped tips like that, you could safely pry wood apart without worry

I also like that it slides into the sheath without any chance of digging in with the point....looks more like a tool rather than a weapon too. After four hours of work I tested the edge and it could still manage to cut paper, not bad IMO. I can't wait to get these guys up in the Blue Ridge in a couple weeks
