I'd like to thank Mike for his timely and accurate responses to the many posts here on Shop Talk, and the other forums he visits.
Thanks, Mike

I second that, he has given input on places I needed to find.
I want to thank him and tell him is a big help.;)

Ditto...

Mr. Hull has been a great help to many on the forums and makes an excellent looking knife to boot!

Yes, he has been a valuable asset to multiple forums. Now if he'd just get a danged website and show us some of those knives ...

I echo everyones thoughts... I personally would like to thank Mr. Hull for the advice that he has offered me in the past. I, like many others, would be at a loss if not for the help of Mr. Hull and many others in this forum. Thanks Mike! And thank you ALL!

Well, since everyone's buttering him up, I figure someone better give a dissenting opinion.
This guy was the first person I ever met on any forum. He's probably more irresponsible for me re-starting making knives than anyone. I'm not convinced that was my best move. LOL
You ask him a question, and the wiseguy always has an answer or ten different websites to go to. And, in his utter arrogance, he's always right! Just disgusting!!
Call him on the phone, and ya gotta sit there and talk and laff for at least a half hour. One of these days I'm gonna have a heart attack, laughing so hard. Now, what kind of friend is that??

All joking aside, I agree with everyone completely, and add my sincere gratitude. Mike helps more people than one can count. He has no problem doing alot of research for us, that we should be doing ourselves. He has the most comprehensive and organized set of links of anyone I've ever known, and is sort of a walking encyclopedia of knives. He's helped me immensely, and is a good friend. Glad to see ya get some kudos, bud, they're well deserved. Just wish I was there to see you blush.... :D

Now I wish I hadn't waited so long to read this thread, I agree 100%. Just today I was thinking about the people here who are the most giving of themselves and Mike Hull was on the short list of 4 names - but literally everyone here has changed my life for the better, and not just once. I am honored to be a part of, and speak often of, the fraternal nature of our craft. I only wish I had more to give! Being on the acceptance side all the time just does not seem fair.

Thanks Mike, and every one of you.

When I saw my name in the list of thread topics this AM, my first reaction was, oh no, busted for some beaver shot picture posted in W&C. When I clicked on the thread, I was flabergasted. I never expected something like this. I just wish to say, you're all welcome, and thank you all, Kit, Nathan, Craig, Terry, Rick, Mike Fitzgerald
and Dave.
I don't know why I was singled out for this, as their are so many that share their experience here, and other forums, and I thank them. :D

Mike has taken the time (often the initiative) to help me many times. He's an extra good guy in a community of good guys. That's an understatement but I'm a understated kind of guy! :D

Anyway, thanks again for everything, Mike!

I also agree that Mike helps everybody he can here.I woould also like to say thanks myself.

Who is Mike Hull?

:D

Yea, there's no doubt, Mike is a great asset to the knifemaking community. He's always there to help out whether it's the forums or pal-talk.

I've really looked up to him for quite some time now.

I just wish the folks here could see more of his knives...clean, solid, sleek, and lean...everyone of them I've ever seen :)
