Greetings knife enthusiasts and knife makers, I'm here seeing some insight as to the possible origin and authenticity of what I believe to be a Mike Leach knife. This knife is from my late father's collection and I have been searching and searching for some clues about it and haven't found much about it.
I don't know a whole lot about this knife, as I stated it was in my late father's collection and I just came across it going through stuff. I'm almost 40 and I do remember him having this knife when I was a kid ad he probably had it from earlier so it might be from the 70's? I assume it is a Mike Leach made knife because it has LEACH MADE engraved into the blade like other Leach knives I have see online and it has some similar characteristics like a smooth blade finish and some kind of sturdy antler handle. My dad grew up in Michigan, I was born in Michigan in 1976 and we didn't move to the state of Wyoming until around 1979 or so, thus I am guessing it is from sometime in the 1970's or earlier. The blade is 4.75 inches long and the overall length is 8.5 inches. It weighs 5.75 ounces I'm just looking for any insight or opinions on this, anything is appreciated.
